In just a few months, Verizon will reveal their new data plans. For better or for worse there WILL be tiered data plans involving prices based off of usage and speed. These will be particularly aimed at the iPhone 5, since it will presumably not be using Verizon's LTE network. We will just wait and see what Verizon allows us to do on our future smartphones.

I hope that this will mean a cheaper data plan option for iPhone owners. And I also hope that the speed won't be throttled.
